Programs and Schedule

Nostalgia is our own invention.

I have given presentations at living history villages, museums; and have spoken to school groups, girl scout troops, and historical societies. My presentations can be altered as needed to meet the interests of the groups I speak to. Email me at HistoryMomSEV.org if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule a program.

Note: The Reading Railroad Bookshop that hosted my summer camps for the past two years closed shop in February. The Laura Ingalls Wilder Summer Camp that was planned for this summer will be held at a different location on a weekend in September. Details will be posted at a later date. Anyone wishing to set up a summer camp at their location can contact me at HistoryMomSEV.org.

Snippets from letters received...

"I heard overwhelming feedback from the teachers and the 4th graders. You have a way of presenting history in a really interesting light... thank you for your generous gift of time and talent."

"Your book is very interesting and the pictures are amazing. It is fun to see how Sylvania has grown!"

"The Sylvania book is great. It provides a wonderful pictorial history of the town. I only lived there a few years but I recognize most of the names and the places. I worked at Sautter's Food Center when I was in high school, which is right downtown and the original site of the Toledo and Western Rail Compay rail yard." NG from Bexley, Ohio

"I loved the Sylvania book. The photo that especially caught my eye was the one of Centennial Terrace. My husband used to go swimming there over 45 years ago. My friends and I went there several times to swim and to dances. The last time we were there together was for the Four Freshman Concert, probably in the middle to late 1960s." Linda from Texas
